Nicolo and Blair were amazing cat sitters. I have an elderly and sick kitty and they were fantastic with her picky eating, finicky bathroom habits, and daily medication. Really allowed me to feel safe and comfortable being away from her. They stopped by before the sit to get instructions and meet my cat and communicated constantly during my trip so I would know all was ok. I came back to a happy kitty, a spotless house, and even my sheets and towels washed. I would use them again for sure and recommend them without any reservations! They were great.

First sit 14 - 17 Mar 2019
Nico and Blair were amazing housesitters- getting on super well with both with us humans (super friendly- we had a lovely lunch together) and also with our fur babies who were super relaxed, calm and happy when they left. They left our house in a spotless condition, but most of all we appreciated their openness, great communications skills, and flexibility. They agreed to do a handover at 5 a.m. due to our early departure, with huge smiles on their faces! Would highly recommend! Second sit 22 - 24 Mar 2019 This was the 2nd housesit by Nico and Blair, and we were so happy to have them back! Kind-hearted wonderful people who will take good care of your pets, and always send you updates and cute photos of them. I strongly recommend them! |

Nicolo and Blair were exceptional in every way. They are easy to work with and communicated exceptionally well in advance of the sit. Our home was perfect on our return and, most importantly, our two dogs were clearly very well cared for in our absence. Nicolo kept in contact while we were away, sending us daily updates on our girls along with photos of them enjoying their long walks together. I can’t speak highly enough about the quality of care and attention provided. We are hoping we can book Nicolo and Blair again soon

Blair stepped in and saved the day! At no notice & inconveniencing himself, he looked after my frenchie again. It was beyond kind and I’m so grateful. My dog was happy relaxed and I’m sure delighted to see him again. The apartment was left in perfect condition, once more. Thank you for looking after Herbie!

Nicolo and Blair were so wonderful from our very first contact. Nicolo messaged me to complete a helpful and detailed questionnaire asking all the right questions to assure me that my dog was in good hands. We followed up with a friendly chat and then regular texts before their arrival, in plenty of time to settle in & meet Herbie our dog before our departure. They were very confident and relaxed which immediately gave me full confidence in them. Not only are they competent, they are charming and extremely friendly, really lovely people. We had regular, daily pictures and updates reassuring us that Herbie was happy and following his usual routine (minimum activity and lots of sleep... just how he likes it). We returned home to a wonderfully clean apartment and a chilled & calm dog who had clearly hardly noticed we had left him. I highly recommend Nicolo and Blair to take care of your beloved pets and your home in equal measure. I'm hoping they will look after Herbie again, in the near future.

As always Roaming Pet Sitters did a lovely job - sending me updates on what the kitties were up to. The guys arrived straight away from another trip which was so gracious and did a great week-long sit. It's reassuring to know my cats are in their care when I am away for so long. They left the place looking fantastic when they departed which made it so nice to return home after so much travel. Highly recommend!

We can not recommend Nicolo and Blair highly enough. They obviously bonded with our two dogs. The house was pristine on our return and they were kind enough to cook us a meal when we returned. They sent us lots of photos of the dogs - we couldn't have asked for more.

Love the Blair / Nicolo duo. They check in, ask questions, send photos, leave the place clean and the cats happy. They are definitely on my short list, go-to of preferred sitters - highly recommend!

Nicolo was a great sitter. I didn’t get the chance to meet him personally, but he did a great job taking care of Remi by using the guidebook I left him. I received several pictures of Remi each day from their long walks. Nicolo even vacuumed the house! I’d have him stay again any time.

I'm so happy to have found Blair and Nicolo - they are absolutely my go-to sitters now, and I very much appreciate the care they show my kitties and home. They send photos and keep me up to date on what's happening and leave my apartment as clean or cleaner it seems! Looking forward to having them back! Second sit 3 Oct - 5 2018 Blair and Nicolo graciously extended their initial stay 9/28-10/2 to accommodate my longer trip when a friend backed out. And then, Blair stayed even longer until 10/6 which I was so thankful for - as I know my cats love to have overnight company. They are great - highly recommend. |

Nicolo & Blair were fantastic sitters! They were flexible with my schedule before the sit, kept sending me consistent updates for my boys while I was away and send a followup email attaching all the pics they took over the weekend - which was a surprise and very much appreciated! We've already planned a follow up sit for later this week! Second sit 21 - 30 Sep 2018 This was the second sit for me and went just as smoothly as the first. Nicolo and Blair were great at keeping me updated on how the boys were doing and I was able to enjoy my trip without worry! I came back to a super clean apt and happy cats! |

As usual, Nicolo and Blair were great. Checking in frequently, sending me photos, and posting an adorable picture to their IG account! I had a mix-up with sheets and didn't lay out a clean set to swap out at the end of the stay. Nicolo reached out to see if I had forgotten, which was very conscientious. The place is always left tidy and the cats seem very content. Can't wait to have them back!

Nicolo & Blair are wonderful. My kitties were happy and content when I returned and the apartment was well cared for. Very organized and even provided some great pictures that I could download from a site! Thoughtful, kind and very communicative!

Nicolo sat for our 2 dogs and 3 chickens for a weekend recently. He was very flexible as we had to change our arrangements twice, both times he was happy to oblige! He was very organised, emailing us a short questionnaire before the sit to ensure it would be as successful as possible. Nicolo was very punctual which meant we could leave and get on with our trip, He was very calm and took all the information we threw at him in his stride! Dougal took to him straight away, sitting himself next to Nicolo who stroked him and helped him feel at ease. I had absolutely no second thoughts about leaving Nicolo in charge of our dogs and house. He sent us updates, inc photos, and waited until we arrived back on the Sunday. Nicolo left the house cleaner than he found it I'm sure. The dogs were happy and had been well walked and there had been no issues. We had a great chat with Nicolo before he went, what a lovely man. We would love to see him back anytime. Nicolo and Blair are wonderful housesitters. Nicolo sent me daily photo updates on my kitty and I could see she was happy and taken care of the whole time. They left the apartment spotless and did all the laundry, which was so helpful and sweet. We are looking forward to having them over again.

Nicolo was fantastic. First, I received a really thorough intake form to complete asking questions about the cats, the house, etc. I really appreciated that extra effort. We also met ahead of time and I was able to give him a tour of the building and house - he had some familiarity with my neighborhood which is always a benefit. I just started giving one of my cats a pill every night and Nicolo did a great job handling that extra step, as well as basics like food and litter. He also sent me a bunch of cute photos of the animals both during the trip and after. The apartment was absolutely spotless and he even ran my dishwasher and put away the dishes. I would highly recommend Nicolo to anyone!

Nicolo is the best! He sends great picture updates, keeps me in the loop about how things are going, and left the apartment tidy. My cat, all the plants, and the plants in the front yard were well cared for. He is always welcome to care for my home anytime I'm away :)

Nicolo and Blair took excellent care of our lab mix, Heath, on very short notice. We received daily updates, Heath was well walked, and they even took him to brunch! We returned home to a clean apartment, and pictures from their stay with Heath. I highly recommend Nicolo and Blair - we would be happy to have them take care of Heath again!

From the first connection with Nicolo & Blair, I could not be more happier. This was our first THS sitters, and Nicolo has "held our hand" all the way... organising "facetimes", helping us think about things we need to consider. They kept the communication frequency just right, keeping us informed of their arrival plans, checking in just before the sit.. and then on the 1st day, it was so relaxing to finally meet them in person, and entrust "Fizz" with them. When we returned, our house was immaculate, our dog very happy, and "well walked" and they've kindly shared photos with us. We are looking forward to the next time Nicolo and Blair can sit for us, or even pop in for some Yorkshire Tea. Thank you.

Nicolo cared for our senior dogs and our boss cat for a winter weekend, and we were very pleased with the result: contented dogs and happy cat! Not to mention the perfectly neat and clean house we found on our return. We also appreciated that Nicolo was entirely flexible with our changing plans to return home a day early. He was gracious and pleasant, and we'd be happy to have him back anytime.

Nicolo did a wonderful job watching and caring for my cat, Marvin! I came home to a very happy cat, which meant Marvin loved Nicolo :-). Nicolo was also great at communicating with me, and was very generous and flexible with his time -- I had a family emergency to tend to, and Nicolo was willing to work my schedule as a result of that. Nicolo was wonderful. One of our dogs passed away a week before Nicolo arrived leaving our second dog depressed. Nicolo made very sure that George did not lack for attention. George had a great week with Nicolo. One of the highlights was visiting Nicolo’s mother in her care home daily and driving around in his car. Nicolo also took very amusing photos of George on their travels together. The house was very well looked after - very good on security! Thank you so much.

Nicolo was our hero! At very short notice he was able to accommodate a last minute house and dog sit, and was extremely flexible with timing and meeting me to get Hugo settled in. It was my first time ever having someone that I hadn't met before take care of my baby (Hugo), also first time using this site and Nicolo's experience and loving manner with Hugo put me completely at ease. Hugo suffers from a little separation anxiety, but with Nicolo, he played happily and didn't even bark when I left! Nicolo was very responsive while I was away, sending me updates and photos of a very happy Hugo on lots of walks, eating his food and cuddling - which was incredibly reassuring. Nicolo was very detail oriented with Hugo's food preparation and kind to allow Hugo to sleep in his usual spot at the foot of the bed which was very much appreciated! Thank you so much Nicolo for really saving the day and allowing me to travel at the last minute with absolute peace of mind! We are very grateful and I hope our paths cross again! I wish there were more then just 5 stars available to mark! Nicolo and Blair were amazing every step of the way and made the process easy and stress free. Blair treated our puppy like family and sent us pictures every day as well as a description of highlights from the day. We came home to a clean house and a happy puppy. This was our first experience with trusted house sitters and I must say we are officially spoiled by Blair and Nicolo... it will be very difficult for anyone else to measure up! :-)

We can't thank Nicolo and Blair enough for the care they took of our menagerie! Ty, Lily and Diesel were obviously spoiled rotten and the cats didn't even care we came back! :) It was a last minute request and it worked out perfectly for all of us as Nicolo and Blair were already in Colorado so I was able to pick them up from their prior sit and bring them up to our house in the foothills. They are a wonderful couple and they, Ben and I had dinner the night before we left. We felt as if we'd known them for a long time, not just a couple of hours! I was a little concerned at first as this was the first time we've used house sitters from Trusted HouseSitters but I needn't have worried as they took it all in their stride, it's obvious they love animals and traveling. We have a 13 year old lab mix who is now a very fussy eater but it was clear that they both had the love and patience to sit with Ty and encourage him to eat. The house was clean when we got back home and they'd even washed the bedding! So thank you both SO much! My wife and I had a great experience with Nicolo. We signed up for this site in a pinch after our usual sitter fell through. He quickly jumped on the opportunity, came up to meet us and get keys and told us more about the process and whatnot. We immediately were at ease with both he and Blair. We received text updates with pictures which we greatly appreciated and all ran smoothly. When we returned Blair was taking out our trash which we certainly wouldn't have asked him to do having only been out of town for a single night. We're very excited about having found this site as we have several more trips coming up and we would highly recommend Nicolo and Blair.

Nicolo & Blair were great pet-sitters and I'd highly recommend them. They are very warm, caring people and we would entrust our home and pets to them anytime. The house was immaculate and I believe the dogs are missing them terribly. The daily morning walks just spoiled them! The pups were in such good moods when we returned home. We couldn't have been happier. We enjoyed their company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Nicolo and Blair were both very pleasant and capable people and they looked after our house and animals very nicely indeed. We shared meals with them at the beginning and end of the house sit so it was good to get to know them a little and this gave us confidence in our chosen housesitters. We would strongly recommend them to look after your pets and property and we are sure you won't be disappointed.

Nicolo and Blair were great house/ pet sitters. Organised, efficient and looked after Izzy very well. They sent pictures and an update once a day and left the property clean and tidy. Would recommend highly.

Nicolo and Blair were amazing house sitters! They came and looked after our young Boston Terrier for nearly 3 weeks during our wedding and honeymoon and they immediately put us at ease. They were very tentative with caring for him, walks, feeds and lots of play. They kept us frequently updated with lovely messages and pictures. They also left the place great and were considerate with sheets and towels already washed :) Their easy going and professional approach made us feel extremely confident in their capability and showed how very experienced they are as house sitters. Nicolo and Blair are the perfect housesitters and simply the best we have come across over the years . We felt very confident leaving our beloved dogs and our home in their friendly and capable hands and it was very comforting having daily updates emailed to us complete with pictures of our furry friends . We returned home to a clean and tidy house and obviously happy pets and a well watered garden. We will definitely be asking them to sit again .

I joined TrustedHousesitters a year ago and was at my wits end to find a place for my dog for ten days. I saw 3 perfect places in the countryside of Normandy that I liked, but my dog Bubbles did not. She is not socialized. I posted on the website. I skyped Nicolo & Blair and had a good feeling about them. They stayed with Bubbles last summer in Normandy, at Christmas in Burma and this summer again in Normandy. I am so happy to have found them on this website. Bubbles absolutely adores Nicolo. So much so that she seemed quite comfortable when I was leaving. I could not have found better people to look after her. Whenever I have a trip they will always be my first choice. June M.

All we can say is WOW! I think our dog was disappointed when we got back as he was so well cared for he had forgotten his owners ;) Thank you Nicoclo and Blair! Not only were these two gentlemen amazing to our animal, but treated our home like their own. They made every effort to meet with us in a timely fashion and walk through our home and how we cared for our dog. They sent constant updates and though I did not get to meet Blair personally, Nicolo is truly the kindest man! What a wonderful couple to have in our home... I hope that our paths cross again one day. We highly recommend for your house sitting needs!

Nicolo and Blair were FANTASTIC!!!! We were in such a rush to leave for a long weekend at a stressful part of the school year and they were so easy going to work with. They took great care of our pets and sent updates daily. I would hire them again, certainly!

Having just returned from our trip I would like to say how happy we are having had Blair and Nicolo look after Opus for us. We had regular updates both before they arrived and throughout their visit and could see how much Opus loved them from the minute they arrived. He actually went and laid on their bed when they left us, which speaks volumes. The house was also left in perfect order, which was a bonus. We will definitely be asking them to visit again in the future. A fantastic experience.

Our puppies were kept well exercised, healthy and happy whilst we were away. They'd clearly made a strong bond and the dogs were sad to see them go! The apartment was left really clean and organised, just the way we left it (if not better!). We'll definitely keep in touch with Nicolo and Blair and perhaps cross paths again. Thanks so much.

This was our first experience of House sitters and I have to say we were delighted. Nicolo kept in good contact, providing daily updates. He was relaxed , friendly and very well organised. Our dog was comfortable with him and he didn't grumble about having to get up with her in the night. Everything was in very good order when we returned and he even cooked us a meal! Conscientious, kind and trustworthy guys. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nicolo and Blair to anybody looking for perfect house-sitters. They genuinely love animals and took our dog on so many walks to put us, her owners, to shame. Our pets are still pining... The house was left immaculately clean and they even prepared a much needed and delicious meal on our late arrival after a long international flight. Whilst away we received regular reassuring messages and our paying guests were well looked after (we have self-catering units on the land). Please come back and do it all again guys....

Nicolo and Blair were fantastic....it's as simple as that. They arrived exactly when we asked them to, were polite and very easy to welcome into our home. They immediately bonded with the animals and took great care to understand what was needed both with the animals and the property. As a result our holiday away was carefree knowing everything was in safe hands. Markha had endless walks and each day we received photos and an update of each animal. I would not hesitate at all to have them back and to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a charming and competent couple to look after their home. Hopefully they'll come back again soon!

Last summer I was frantic to find someone to stay with our dog Bubbles and i just happened to find your website and joined and posted. I chose Nicolo and Blair and I was so happy that I did. They constantly sent updates to let me know Bubbles was fine which I saw with my own eyes when we returned. She absolutely adored them. I then requested them to sit again in Yangon at Xmas. When I returned after the Xmas trip I thought she was ready to move in with them. One could not find two better persons to take care of your pets. In addition they have always been very respectful of our home.

Nicolo and Blair are my first house sitters and we've only just returned from holiday. Nicolo was prepared to send daily updates on Chloe, our cat, to us but we asked him to just do it twice a week or so as our internet connection was so poor in Egypt - he did precisely that and even reduced the resolution of photos so that we could download them quickly. The house has been left as if they had never been here - they even found time to wash the sheets and towels. We're just so pleased we found this website and this lovely couple. As to the care of Chloe - well, we advertised her as being timid but there's now photographic proof that she's two-timed us. She rarely sits on my husband's lap but there she is happily sitting for photos on Nicolo's lap. She's so content today, it's as though we've never been away and, to be honest that's just about the best recommendation I can give. The guys were even happy to accommodate our daughter when she unexpectedly wanted to come home for a few days. Thanks guys; you've been wonderful!

If you have an opportunity to have Blair and Nicolo sit for you--take it! They are amazing! They were wonderfully devoted to my two cats and dog, sent me daily email updates with beautiful photos of my beasts, even took me to and from the airport! The place was left clean as a whistle and the pets were calm and happy when I returned. We had a bit over a day overlap and I got to know them a bit. I now count them as friends and would have them sit for me anytime.

Blair and Nicolo looked after my boys, Oscar and Ron, for just under a week. They took great care of the the cats and the flat - with a daily email update with a few photos, and a whole dropbox full of pictures after the trip. The flat was lovely and clean, sheets all clean and the dishwasher on. The boys were totally chilled out when I arrived home, always a good sign. Highly recommend.

Absolutely WONDERFUL house sitters!!! Super organised, very self sufficient, an absolute dream for a last minute house sit when I didn't expect any responses!!! Great at communication, I had lovely emails and photos of Snoops. I felt very happy and relaxed knowing that my kitten and cottage were well looked after. Thank you both, and would highly recommend.

Nicolo and Blair are the nicest couple anyone could ever meet. They are professional and organised from the very first contact. We were a little apprehensive about leaving our dog with people she hadn't met before but we managed to meet our house sitters before we went off on holiday and it was obvious they were going to be fine. Nicolo and Blair really love animals and that came across from the first meeting and from the daily updates sent through to us by email everyday we were away. Lola and our chickens were in good hands. The house was clean and tidy when we got back and we even had a snack prepared for us on our return from holiday. It was obvious that Lola missed them when they left. I wouldn't hesitate to book them again and they are always welcome to visit if they're ever passing through.

Nicolo accepted the arrangement to sit for us while we went on a city break. He confirmed the details and remained in touch in the run up to the visit ensuring that everything was clear and organised. The arrangement included a overnight stay prior to us leaving early the next day to enable all to be introduced, which made the handover very smooth and we left feeling confident in the care of our precious dogs and home. When Nicolo and Blair arrived they found the house without any problems arriving on time. It was clear they were experienced and organised and had researched the area and amenities very well which caused us minimum effort, perfect when you're busy organising to leave on a break. Very quickly it was clear my old dogs loved Blair and Nicolo and this remained though out. I had really valued the daily updates via email and photos. Our house was immaculate on our return and we had two very happy doggies who had regular walks and lots of attention. Blair much to our delight had provided a welcome home snack of tapas, which was perfect and thoughtful as we had just returned from Madrid. Nicolo and Blair are an absolute delight to have as guests and I feel we now have a friends for life.

What a fantastic pair! These two were strangers but are now friends, not just to my dogs, but to me as well. They took excellent care of my home and went above and beyond for my two dogs. Julian and Carlos loved them and it was obvious that the feeling was mutual. I felt so at ease knowing that these two were taking care of my home and my beloved pups. They are the ideal sitters!

We arranged for Nicolo and Blair to come and housesit for us while we went away for 10 days to look after our dog and two cats, Frank, Riddance and The Littlest. Having never used Trusted Housesitters before I was slightly apprehensive but right from the beginning Nicolo and Blair were amazing, reliable and friendly. I couldn't have asked for more trusted and lovely people to look after our beloved pets and home. Frank - our dog - really missed them both when they left and was looking for them for a few days when we got home. The daily photos and updates were fabulous - the animals seemed so happy and I wouldn't hesitate to ask them to come again or recommend them to anyone else - what a great experience. I'd be delighted for Nicolo and Blair to housesit for us in the future. They took care of our Jack Russell and 2 cats for a long weekend. Communication was simple and prompt throughout, with daily updates emailed to us while we were away. They left the house cleaner and tidier than we left it! Our dog seemed a little disappointed to see us arrive home - she had more walking than she usually gets with us. She can be a little temperamental but Nicolo and Blair were relaxed and the long walks won her over. I would recommend them to anyone with absolutely no hesitation whatsoever.

I can highly recommend Nicolo and Blair as house and animal sitters. From first contact communication was smooth and straightforward and Nicolo and Blair were charming, accommodating and entirely self-reliant. They were also good company during our hand-over time. I returned to a house which was clean and tidy and cats who were well cared for. I very much appreciated daily updates, complete with photographs showing four happy cats, throughout the 10-day sit. Another thing which I very much appreciated was that they arrived appearing to already know the names of the four cats - an indication that the animal-care aspect of the sit was of importance. I was also very grateful to Blair for managing a crisis with the gas boiler and for his initiative in unblocking a sink - his experience of managing properties was evident. I would happily invite Nicolo and Blair to sit again.

This sit was actually in my home in France. I had originally contacted another couple, but had a feeling that I should have a backup and then I saw Nicolo & Blair were interested. I immediately contacted them to see if they were still available. As it turned out the other couple's plans changed. I skyped Blair & Nicolo and I felt a connection and we settled on our dates. When they arrived I knew I had made the right choice. From the updates with pictures, I knew Bubbles our dog had taken to them. When I returned she went to them even though I was in the room. She normally only has eyes for me. Blair and Nicolo took her for long walks which she loves and played games with her. We have already talked about other dates if they are available, I would be thrilled if they could sit with her again. I highly recommend them.
